TEAM FACTORY SHOOT

We had a fabulous time on our shoot! Here are some stories about how we met the team...
We met the talented photographer Mirri Rowland one cold Winter's day on a very chic fashion makeover show assisting the fabulous Namalee Bolle. We heard she was into snapping snaps so we asked if she'd do our wee shoot and she agreed! She also introduced us to a wonderful filmmaker, Laura Wedlake. We discovered she has an incredible eye for detail and she quickly joined the project, shooting behind the scenes and capturing many intricate moments we would have missed.
We met stylist Simone Sylvester at our friend Johnny Blueeyes' tea party. We saw her business card and it was love at first sight. We loved her work, it had to be her! We enjoyed her positivity and professionalism on set. Luckily, the lovely Simone knew Mary Jane Gotodic, a gorgeous make-up artist with all the tricks of the trade. Wowed by her online portfolio she was on-hand throughout the day re-touching lippie and advising on hair.
Last, but not least, we met the gorgeous Pippa Brindley in our local Topshop trying on some wedges. Wowed by her beauty we had to go back into the store to ask if she'd model and she gave us a resounding yes! The amazing Poppy Newman we met through our little superstar Mirri, she's a bit of a pro with the modelling and shot like a dream...
Together, on that rainy/sunny day in August, we became Team Factory!
Love you guys

We're pleased to see Mary Portas taking her work one step further from British fashion retail and into the heart of the industry, manufacturing....
We met up with a great British manufacturer at his factory in North East London. His father had run the factory before him as had his grandfather....
