THE BOTTOM LINE.

We're pleased to see Mary Portas taking her work one step further from British fashion retail and into the heart of the industry, manufacturing. This cause, as you're well aware, I'm passionate about!

Hopefully, by Portas showing off her pants on TV, she will be able to highlight the need to produce in Great Britain and draw mass awareness to the importance of buying British. If we can increase the demand from consumers for more British made goods, perhaps we can put pressure on brands to do the right thing and produce in the UK.

This also gives us a fantastic platform to show off and shout about our family run factories such as Michael's and give them the much-needed work they so deserve.
